We've started exploring the world of quantitative analysis software with SPSS. If you haven't already done so, take a look at the software package available at Ed Commons. This time, we review t-tests and ANOVAs with Urdan and read about linear regression with Field. Join us for a meeting at the OISE Library study room on Tuesday August 11th from 11AM-1 PM.

To prepare, we'll be reading:

Andy Field's Discovering Statistics using SPSS (and sex, drugs & rock'n'roll) (3rd or 4th ed) Chapter 7 (regression) and Timothy Urdan's Statistics in Plain English (3rd Ed) Chapter 9 (t-tests) + 10 (ANOVA).
